Galar's battle tower is so boring holy fuck. I've gone through 180 of the 200 required battles to finish off the league card backgrounds and besides Leon, a single NPC dynamaxed, and nobody uses anything good. I'm crushing back to back with Whimsicott, Flapple, Sandaconda, and Corviknight. Tailwind takes away literally any challenge. You outspeed every scarf. The only thing that comes close to concerning is Imposter Ditto, encountered once.
Previous towers had legendaries and megas and z moves that were actually something to get around. Galar's tower you could bring any awful in game team and be done within a few hours.
At least online has redeeming challenge. Never touching the tower again after these backgrounds.
