certain mons will 'talk' to each other, the music note symbols (indication of joy) appearing when they do. I assume they'll just do that when they're put in the same picnics multiple times and they 'get along' like in SwSh
but when I try to make some other mons get along and see if they'll talk to each other, they don't interact at all even after I put them together in picnics and made sandwiches multiple times. the ones that talk to each other would still interact, it's pretty consistent.
I doubt they'll put that kind of cryptic obscure detail but it's the little things like this that will keep me up at night thinking about it
