I don't think anything grinds my gears more than people who constantly talk about/lecture others on being compassionate and just while simultaneously taking any and all opportunities to denigrate and spite anyone they perceive to oppose or disagree with them. It grinds my gears even more that the internet and popular media in general seems to be built around letting these kinds of sociopaths get ahead.

22 but I still very much agree with you. Whether intentional or not this franchise is a flytrap across all bands of the autism spectrum and I am very glad I didn't get into it with my friends during my childhood/teenage years.
You'll make it, just don't let your attitudes and doubts get the best of you. Therapy and counselling is not a panacea but to recognize the need for help and actually go through with it on your own already speaks volumes, there are a lot of people in the who never get to that point, even with the state holding their hand.
