i mean, just look at sceptile side by side with rillaboom. on his own he looks fine, but next to rillaboom he looks like he's from a different series entirely. even in the anime some of the older mons have boosted colours.
a touch up the old mons' sugi art would go really far to make them fit with the new style i think.
