Who the Beedrill suffered a horrible death in Valerie's Gym. Klefki dealt a swift OHKO with Foul Play after I tried to muscle though it's defences with Swords Dance... I really need to look up the level up moves more often.
Having been left with only 3 Pokemon, I added a Fonguss in order to cover up the loss. At first I was doubtful if it would pull it's weight, but my God I was wrong. Easily the MVP of my team at the moment, it just never fucking dies.
Upon hitting Dendemille Town Wonder Trade was finally kind enough to give me a long-awaited Water type. Empoleon's moveset might be quite shitty at the moment, but I hope TMs will be able to fix him soon.
In order to finally have a full team I also added a Beldum I grabbed a good while ago, only to have it quickly defeated in Frost Cave in a rather annoying battle against Marowak. Not being happy with any of the available replacements I stuck with my 5-mon team.
Going for the 7th badge next.
