It is a little wild going from scraps like "two generic trainers with one piece of ambiguous dialogue" in ORAS or "rival obsessed with the player character regardless of gender" in SV to four of the most prominent female characters being so heavily teased as pairs there's very little left to the imagination, but I'm not complaining.
