>>26501748I guess they chose Galactic because of its vague relation to the subject matter and its cold, vacuum-of-outer-space vibe which goes with Cyrus' get-rid-of-emotion goal. Palkia is definitely dimension space because of its two counterparts. Dialga represents the dimension of time, Palkia the dimension of space, and the two of them together represent the space-time continuum and the matter in in. Giratina represents antimatter, which is a form of matter that has the opposite charge as normal matter(along with some more complicated differences), and the two types of matter tend to annihilate one another when they come into contact. That's probably why Giratina is different from the other members of its trio.
I recommend the first chapter of H.G. Wells' book The Time Machine as a pretty simple explanation of space and time dimensions. It's a good book, if pretty dry by today's standards because 1800s English, but some people like that style. I've doodled on a light cone graph and gave it an explanation. I was already doing physics anyways.
