The wi-fi router is downstairs and plugged in the same array of sockets as their TV, HD recorder, etc. which they collectively unplug when they go to bed. I do the same with my PC and other electronics in my flat.Sorry for spoiling multis, but to be honest it suits me quite well, I'm about to pass out and need to get up early.
