Pokemon like Nidoking or Crawdaunt are amazing at busting through stall, but in a Hyper Offense meta, they can't ever work because they're too slow and frail. Nidoking might be able to bust open a hole in any defensive core ever conceived, but it's worse than useless if 9/10 matches it gets worked by HO teams and when you finally drop it for a Pokemon that is better suited to handle HO, you finally get that rare 1/10 stall team.
Stall isn't even a concern in OU right now because there are so few stall mons left in the game. Most of the ones that did get added back in, like Alomomola and Chansey/Blissey were utterly gutted in terms of viability. Clefable is gone, Toxapex got absolutely neutered, Chansey and Blissey are unusable, Quagsire is outclassed, Skarmory is gone, Dugtrio is still banned from using Arena Trap, and Zapdos is MIA for the time being. Amoonguss still exists unmolested, but that is the exception.
