>>27982764It's pointless to hope for, but I really wish they'll reveal Alain unwittingly cheated because Flare was funneling energy to his Charizard or his Charizard's Mega Stone was tampered with to give him an edge or something, and Ash beats him when they have a post-Flare rematch for Champion.
Maybe something like Alain gets pissed that Lysander helped him cheat (and thus didn't beat Ash on his own), switches sides from Flare, helps Ash beat them, and then rematches him in the stadium again for the Champion title.
