A crutch strategy is one that involves less or no skill.
The Liberty Launcher is a Soldier Rocket Launcher that in every stat makes using it way easier than other Rocket Launchers. More Rockets so you don’t have to reload and faster rocket speed do that hitting an enemy is easier. Several fundementals you need to understand while playing are made more lax and easier. This makes it a crutch weapon, but everyone universally understands this weapon sucks ass anyways because it’s drawback is dealing significantly less damage.
The fact that the Liberty Launcher is terrible is indifferent to it being a good weapon.
Frankly Evasion and OHKO moves aren’t really the powerful likewise in most games. The issue is that they require just functoning motor skills due to excessive RNG that if you’re lucky can turn games around completely. I vital Ice Beam suddenly missing against a Garchomp in sand often meant you just lost, no fault of your own, and all your opponent did was put Sand Veil on Chomp and maybe brought a Tyranitar. Much less skillful than designing a team that can break down defensive cores, slow down faster threats, and maybe kill some offensive/defensive roadblocks, all through skillful gameplay.
