For some reason I had Pokémon Ranch on my Wii, and if you deposited 999 pokémon into it you'd get a Mew to transfer to your actual games. That summer, 2010, at night I would sit in front of the TV and stay up to 2am catching hoothoot on route 29 in repeat balls endlessly. All the while watching Ghost Hunters/Adventures and making sure my old, deaf cat wasn't lonely. I got my mew and always look back on the summer of ghost adventures and hoothoot fondly.
