The difference is that everything seems more fleshed out in SV than it ever was before. I know because SwSh's lackluster "story" pissed me off to no end and almost made me drop the whole fucking franchise. I gave up all hope that GF could deliver a decent story, but SVs story is legit good, it totally caught me off guard.
Anyway, don't get me wrong. It's cautious optimism, I'm fully aware that they might fuck it up and not go anywhere with all this stuff in the DLC.
