>>19274701>CHAPTER 2>A Break In, A Break OutYour name is David, the 17 year old Team Rocket Grunt. You and your partner, Elekid, are currently preparing for the biggest mission of your, according to the Rocket Bosses, "admittedly average" Team Rocket career.
--------
>The night of the attack>David's Room"Poke Balls, check. Antidotes, check. Edgy midnight black face mask, check. Spongebob Squarepants themed slide whistle, check."
As you vocally list the items you plan on bringing to the mission, Elekid punches the air, alternating fists with each new item. He's obviously excited for the chance to go on such a big mission & prove himself. Or he's still high off of all the electricity he's been absorbing. Either one, it's all cool by you.
"A slide whistle? Really David? Why on earth would you need that for a simple robbery?"
As usual, Kris just doesn't *get* you. That's okay though, two halves to make a whole, opposites attract and all that.
You look up at her from admiring your whistle. "Well Kris, if really have to tell you why, then maybe you don't deserve to know."
With a heavy sigh, she gathers her items, and leaves your room while shaking her head. No doubt wondering how or why she was paired with you. It's okay, the slide whistle always make them come around in the end.
You've got about half an hour before you both leave on your mission to capture the shiny larvitar from Elm, just enough time to take care of one last errand.
>What's the one last thing you take care of before leaving? (Each one will have a significant impact on later events in the chapter)
A) You visit the storage room and grab a Poke Doll.
B) You grab some Soft Sand from outside.
C) You go to your desk and grab your last Ultra Ball.
D) You look under your bed and grab your trusty flashlight.
