It's really not as subjective as one may think. No matter how many different "good" styles great artists use, they always have a thing in common: they're solid, they're fluid and they're eyecatching. There's always a thing to learn about them. And, one of those is how to use colour to give expression to a drawing, which is universal.
>>13066069Colour theory is an important fundamental. Anything can look flat if you don't know the correct colours to use, or when to use them. If Vono wants to practice hyperrealism, surrealism or any other similar style, he'll need to learn a lot about refraction to replace lines. Plus, I like to practice fundamentals side-by-side, it's a personal thing. By default, kinda think everyone does it.
