Here’s a question I thought of: what’s the dynamic between your trainer and their Pokémon? Like do they have personalities that complement or contrast one another? How do they interact? What do they both think of each other? etc.
For example, Hyacinth and her Lampent Charlie have differing personalities where the girl is polite and timid while the ghost is rude and snarky. Charlie doesn’t battle with or even listen to her orders either, usually off doing their own thing and only sticking around because Hya’s useful for his greater ambitions. But over time her kindness has made him begrudgingly start to care.
