Has anyone ever played Super Pokemon Eevee Edition? It's like a "real" rpg with action meters, unlimited moves I think and your stater is an eevee which can change forms with an item.
It's got snarky humor (the pokemon professor tells you to go away, they are doing research - not handing out pokemon), references (Lost is on tv) and is breaking the 4th wall but so far I like the different battle and play style. The old look is also kind of charming.
