Radical Red isn't that hard, the problem is that it isn't fun in a lot of parts. You can have a difficulty hack that doesn't so heavily rely on EV training. At that point it just becomes a game of numbers instead of a game of strategy & teamwork which is the soul of Pokemon, that Radical Red misses hard on compared to other romhacks or the SwSh DLC.
