I loved the base game story in Sun and Moon, loved the atmosphere of both games, loved the concept of Necrozma in Ultra even if I think it was hamfistedly forced into an existing plot. Ultra Beasts in general were really cool. Alola itself is also really really atmospheric. The Pokemon designs and characters in general are just really good too.
Honestly my only complaint is that replays feel a little too cutscene heavy and the progression between those cutscenes is so linear. One or the other is fine but both make for uninteresting replays.
After getting my bromon a Battle Tree Master Ribbon recently I'm pretty much done with this gen though, with 150 hours in Moon and 250 in UltraMoon. Unless I decide to go back and train something very specific, or that I really want to do Super Doubles and Super Multis, I'm gonna play a lot less and just slowly prepare my stuff to be transferred to Gen 8.
>>38882408It's not really that hard to get the specific Ultra Beast you want from the Ultra Wormhole though is it? Literally just go a set distance then enter a white wormhole. The legendaries are a pain but I mean, if you could control literally every factor and make it piss easy, that'd defeat the point of a "legendary" for the kids, I imagine.
I do agree that getting EVERYTHING from the Ultra Wormhole is particularly tedious and the minigame itself wasn't particularly fun though.
