My favorite Pokemon often switches between Deoxys and Crawdaunt. I like both of them a lot, but I end up using Crawdaunt more, for obvious reasons, so I tend to prefer it when I'm not playing my save file with Deoxys. Their color scheme resonates well with me, and I like their min/max stat spreads though I do wish Crawdaunt had a better spread
I play Pokemon since it's the only RPG that lets me beat it with no required Pokemon. I can always choose what I like the most, I can set my own rules, and it gives me the objective of building a balanced team.
