>>50508693>>50508734This is a repost from a previous thread, but fuck it, you people are still too stupid to get it, so I'll post it again. Regarding pic related from

>The narrative weight is completely lost on you, you utter buffoons. The value in the scene isn't how cool Ash is, it's the OTHER guy, this jerk who the audience is lead to believe is just some rookie breaker Ash has to beat up for cheap suspense and to make Ash look cooler. But then it's NOT THAT. The scene then turns that simplistic idea on its head. This guy isn't a jerk who's way over his head, he's an underdog who couldn't make it, lashing out against someone who did. And when he's defeated again, put down once again, he begs Ash, for the sake of all people like him, the people who didn't make it, to WIN.>And to Ash, a character who has fallen short time and time and TIME AGAIN, he knows that guy's feeling better than any COTD the show has EVER HAD. He may have never missed out on a league, but he's missed out on his dream over and over again, in every league loss. But now, he's going to carry the flag to VICTORY, not just for this guy, not just for every joe shmoe who's feeling bad they couldn't make it, but for every version of himself who was in that guy's position. THAT'S WHY HE SAYS HE WON'T LOSE, BECAUSE THIS WAS THE FUCKING TIME.
