Casually dropping this here. All the Minka Bird designs so far.
Since the system has worked well before, it'll be useful to see people's opinions on everything. It's easy:
- Circle ideas heading in the right direction in green
- Circle ideas you're neutral about in yellow
- Circle ideas that you don't think are good to go with/definitely need changing in red
- Circle near finished designs that just need a few touch ups in blue, maybe?
If anyone is interested, some Minka Bird ideas from the forum and past threads:
- Minka Bird being death and wind while the Rainbow serpent is tied to life and water
- Dark/Flying or even Ghost/Dark (again, with levitate?) for the Minka Bird
- The Minka Bird swoops down from above to carry off the souls of the departed. It flies until it reaches its nest in the Great Dreaming. After a time it lays an egg full of souls, but that egg is always stolen by the Rainbow Serpent who swallows it whole. Within its belly the egg breaks and new souls follow the length of the serpent until they leave the Great Dreaming and come into the world of the living.
- minka bird be tyed to fire? not only is fire vs water more natural, but fire is a lot closer to death than wind is.
