As for Reisen, you still have to actually be good at the games, but infinite lives is a fucking joke, even if it is in the otherwise hardest game that isn't SA. Clown Piece gave me an aneurysm, yes, but I wake up in cold sweats in the middle of the night thinking about Cat Walk and Bird's final spell card, not to mention Philosophy of a Hated Person.
I could see it being a walk off Hakurei Shrine that either gets destroyed by various characters, or has the weather mechanic of 10.5/12.3. Scarlet Devil Mansion, the Holy Palenquin, Human Village, and Youkai Mountain all could work as well
