What is a problem and what causes "not enough revealed" to be a bad thing is the exact same thing that causes "too much revealed" to be a bad thing - no fucking content. When the games have so little to offer, you're darned if you do and darned if you don't.

Because of the lack of content in the games, there's not enough they can show to make the games exciting and thus the trailers feel barebones. The only remedy to this would be playing every card they have, which brings them right back to revealing too much.
