Only just now finally got a 5IV Monster stud from surprise trade.
Was wondering: what's the best chances for breeding 2 5IV mon, to have them have matching bad IVs or not?
Like, if the bad IVs match, then 5/6 of the time you're gaurenteed to pass that bad stat to the child. But you also only can get a minimum of 2 bad IVs in that case.
If the bad IVs don't match, then each time they draw the stats with the bad IVs, it's only a 50% chance the bad stat is passed, but you can wind up with 3 bad IVs.
I know hyper training makes the whole thing kinda moot, but I'm just wondering if there's actually some statistical advantage to one over the other I'm not considering.
