I played my first Pokemon game ever in FR/LG recently and it was cash. Then I went straight to HG/SS and I have a feeling those are the best Pokemon games ever. Now I need a new fill, but for one I don't have a lot of time to play and I don't want to waste time on a bad game, and two in some of these games I'm seeing some very random and soulless pokemon I've never seen in the anime or on cards/tazos as a kid and have no idea where they came from. Can't relate basically.
Aside from Emerald I guess, even though that's kinda random to me too, which of these are worth playing too? I've seen people saying Diamond and Pearl can be skipped because Platinum exists. I'm also confused with BW and BW2 with people saying BW2 is just BW but not shit.
Also under the impression that no games past the DS era are worth playing, but you tell me.
