The Lore Miser lets a slip a brief hint of shock, but doesn't let it stay. He glares at the jack-o-lantern with his club held high. "Was such a blow not enough for you, pagan..?" he scoffs as the intensity of his glow flares. "Fine then.. I told Calemson that if my hand were forced, I'd eliminate everything in my path and leave mercy to nothing. With resistance like this, I can only assume.."

Garakaw rushes at her again, his club embedded in an inescapable blue aura. Keeping that in mind, Gourgeist doubles back and opts to sidetrack him instead. She opens her mouth, bares her fangs, and charges a ball of pure, green energy between her palms. "Chaaaaaaaaa....."

She slaps at it the approaching madman Miser with brute force, but he appears undeterred by the counterattack. Readying his bone, he continues running and upon closing in on the Energy Ball,
ricochets that sucker clear to the colorless moon."U-Upu!?" Gourgeist gasps and attempts to clear distance again, but finds herself backed up to the wall. Garakaw continues to charge at her, ever relentless with another Aerial Ace prepared for her. "YOU.. WON'T.. STOP ME!"
"C-Cha, cha!" Gourgeist cowers in preparation for the blow, tendrils covering her face. Just as the Lore Miser draws in and readies the strike, something absolutely breathtaking happens.
