>>42639309Pikachu is hated by most fans nowadays because he's the mascot of the franchise and the most iconic pokemon in media history. He hated just like how Mario is hated for being the popular chad character, all while Luigi is held by memers/hipsters for being the poor little underdog character. That said, I like Pikachu and I would often use him if there are no better or more appealing Electric types around because Pikachu is cool to me regardless.
