You ever notice that there's a lack of Salamence and Hydreigon on the ladder? It's because fairies completely shit on them. Hell, even Latios isn't seen much on Pokebank because it got nerfed to hell and back (also because every single move it used got nerfed too) Garchomp and Dragonite are seen much more because they handle fairies better.
Togekiss and Azumarill are already two fairies that are certain OU and there's about five or six more that are viable, including Sylveon, Gardevoir and Mawile. It's a good type, it's just that people were expecting dragons to be shit after the fairies, which was never going to happen.
