The detail about the music being a "wake up" jingle definitely sounds right. I kinda understand why they went with Pokémon Centers instead of Inns, it would be kinda annoying having a fade to black and back every time you need to heal your party. Don't want to think about mashing B and accidentally booking a room again. Also sleeping for free on every Inn sounds even more ridiculous than PokéCenters, somehow.
I have no idea if "koukan" is finished or not but I like it. It's to "lively" what the print error music in yellow is to "awkward".
Were "Hidden Machines" actually meant to be secret at some point? Besides Flash (and arguably Cut because it's a story bit) all of them are given to you in very obtuse ways (finding unmarked locations, solving cryptic puzzles) but all of them are pretty much mandatory to finish the game.
