Story plans :
The original fanfic I had in mind for Lobelie centered on Team Plasma remnants finding out about the Dream World as Juniper and Fennel attempt to make Dream World access more open to Trainers.
This would lead Neo Plasma to invade the Entrylink and Entry Forest to steal Pokémon's dreams, hoping to build themselves an army of powerful and rare Pokémon.
The Entry Forest working against them, combined to Lobelie helping Gym Leaders kick them out, would foil that plan.
But they would end up with a new, much more troublesome plan : trying to harness the power of nightmares through mistreating Pokémon and bringing their deepest fear to life.
The plan would turn against them as the Entrylink would end up overran by a giant nightmare creature, made of all the horrors Neo Plasma tried to bring into reality.
In the end, Lobelie would manage to call upon a Cresslia whose presence would dispel the nightmare creature, returning peace to Unova.
But the showdown damaged the Entrylink, severing its link to the Dream World and making it unable to materialise dreams, leading to the end of Fennel's project.
What would Lobelie do from there? Dunno. Probably take a well deserved vacation, for one.
author's notes : looking back on it I think Neo Plasma's plans is way too edgy and Lobelie managing to pull a Cresselia out of his ass might be too contrived, if you have any input or idea feel free to tell me what you think
