Both teams were overpowered because the shitty directors are "m-muh main protagonist characters need to have epic edgy strong pogeymanz!!!!" I mean seriously, Chimchar and Monferno were fair and balanced because they had their moments of wins and losses, but Infernape was basically unbeatable because they have a strong fetish for giving Ash "that Pokemon" that never loses and said Pokemon to do "awesome shit" like Blaze or that God awful "Ash-ninja" bullshit. Torterra basically was used as a side Pokemon to fuck up TR (though honestly, how hard is it to beat TR? You can squirt a tiny stream of water from a waterpistol and they'd "blast off again" And to add to that writers come up with bullshit borderline retarded reasons Ash's Pokemon are way too strong, mostly the "love faith and trust" bullshit Ash uses to strengthen his Pokemon. None of Ash traveling friends has Pokemon powerful like that, it's always Ash. They are never given a chance to have edgy moments, with the exception of Iris's dragonite and thats it. It seems to me like the writers use that "edgy and overpowered" shit to keep the franchise alive because you didnt see this shit in the OS that much. It gets annoying and doesnt make any sense

Bonnie is fucking annoying, Serena is an annoying slut and Clemont is just there. It was funny with Brock and Misty, but now it's old. I'm sorry but I can't like this series anymore.
