My friend in 3rd or 4th grade (I went to a small school where 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th grades were often combined in the same room) told me that if you were playing Red or Blue on the GB tower in Pokemon Stadium that it would break the cartridge/delete something important and I always took it out and used a regular Game Boy (not color) to do the Missingno glitch if I needed more items. Still do to this day out of paranoia.
Can anybody confirm this? Will encountering Missingno and saving afterward on the GB tower in either Stadium mess something up? I never caught it or anything. I don't even know how to phrase this question/situation for Google to help.
