Wiped on Distortion World Cyrus. First, we got off to a horrible start before the bosses even showed up. Pippin got wiped by a Wood Hammer crit from a wild Abomasnow on a switch-in, never had a chance. This one hurt, because Pippin was probably our run MVP aside from MYDOOM.exe. Also, Pippin was crucial in my plan for Cyrus, since its Fighting & Electric-type moves were supposed to come up huge against his team. Granted, Mars and Jupiter were a cakewalk after the fact.
I am convinced Platinum hates me because the first two turns of the Cyrus fight involved a successful Will-O-Wisp and Dark Pulse crit onto Shabazz (Gastrodon). It survived on 4HP, but it basically wasn't going to be of any use in the fight. MYDOOM was able to clean up both the Gyarados and Honchkrow, but in comes Weavile. MYDOOM isn't able to OHKO it and it outspeeds, so I'm shit outta luck there. I do my best to salvage the fight, but his Weavile successfully sweeps the team.
This game hates me, but I hate it more. We'll be back.
