I'll admit, that's not bad, but that's kind of the premise of Noctowl, so I don't see how it wouldn't be derivative; it definitely doesn't make sense as far as its grass or flying typing is concerned

The ring of fire is pretty genius, but I seriously question how the creator didn't see the tail becoming a whip.
It's not a complete design, but its a solid foundation. Much better than pic related.
