finished reading A Nightmare on Elm Sweet :
https://rentry.org/elmnightmareDude.. I no longer have sides after reading this one, holy shit. Incredible story, it might be my favorite of yours.
First of all, the overall pace of the story was very well thought. You gave us an intro "tutorial" about the move with very interesting descriptions (cool to see that ferals in dungeons don't dream, further reinforcing the fact that they aren't sentient). And little by little, like a cascading snowball
we see Elm getting more and more hungry for dreams It was well written evolution.
My favorite part were the dream descriptions. I LOVE when other characters get included in stories, and the way you featured so many characters with dreams fitting their stories, it was just so cool to read. I especially loved
Gus's dream kek. Toge's dream was cool too. I liked the tastes you gave each dream, very creative way of interpreting dream eater!
Towards the end, when he goes a bit crazy and tastes everyone's dreams, the little descriptions you gave each one was beautiful. The way you put it, it feels like a song is being written, loved that part so much.
Oh and the art you included is amazing!! Extremely based that you did a little animation for this story. Pure kino.
Some parts that destroyed my sides :
>That Time I Decided to Approach a Sleeping Pokémon and was Obliterated by a Hyper Beam While Arceus Laughed at me and Decided to Reincarnate me as a Vaporeon in a Doujinshi. Since When Can Caterpies Use Hyper Beam?!fucking kek
>Why is this sheep dreaming about explosionMACOM!?!? EVEN IN THE DREAMS?!? lmfao
and of course,
the cyndaquil part is hilarious. I gasped when I saw who it was that Elm was gonna try to eat the entire dream The ending was excellent.
I love that no one will ever know what happened except ElmThank you for the kino, mr.Elm!
