When I imagined "holy shit Pokemon in 3D" all those years ago when Stadium hit the scene, I imagined a gorgeously massive fucking world filled with seemingly unlimited possibilities for adventure.
Giant cities, wide open fields, sprawling forests, limitless oceans, caves that seem to go on forever, Pokemon all over the place without them just randomly popping into existence, and a campaign that'd be so engaging and so lengthy that you'd have a team of Level 100 Asskickers by the time you reach the Champion so you two could duke it out with full teams at their absolute peak.
What I got instead 18 years later was a Kanto-themed Daycare.
