Not gonna lie, although I love every character, I always squint a little when a native Pokémon is introduced instead of a human, because at its heart, Clover Guild is supposed to be a guild (mostly) made of humons. and also, to top it off, native characters are harder to pull off because of all the past they carry with them! This introduction is the perfect example on how well an author can write a native. Out of the top of my head, Beast and Kiyo also wrote similarly great intro for their native characters, which I highly respect because it's not easy.
But seriously, amazing story, I love Cider very much, hope to see more of the little owl!!!
