Reminder that more than one things can be true at once. Palworld can both be HIRE THIS MAN tier game and open world slop with uninspired designs while also not being AI or stolen models with Pokémon's game being complete shit. I can admit that I play a shitty game and like a shitty game while acknowledging it's a shitty game instead of huffing cope about it. I can both say that Pokemon deserves this and that Palworld's gameplay is completely uninteresting to me while also being able to see that Palworld is made more competently that SwSh or SV and GF has no excuse for how poorly made their games are.
I can hope that maybe this will encourage them to actually make the games properly instead of trying to shit out yearly games while also expecting very little to actually change.
This is an indictment of Pokémon but also a show of the absolute failure of other monster catching series to capitalize on the void Pokémon inflicted on itself that some guys throwing shit together in Unreal Engine was able to go gangbusters because no other company has the intelligence or the stones to do it.
Also the twitterfags crying about Palworld need to shut the fuck up and stop being such sensitive fanboys.
