Honestly speaking, sure I kissed the tip of the end of that craze, but I've watched most everyone whom I'm friends with now talk about how they were in the middle of that craze but just lost interest as soon as that craze was over. I can only speak from experience but it seems to me that not being around for the bulk of that craze helped me maintain this passion I've had for pokemon. It's such an integral part of my life now that I consider it a factor in whether or not I should go for a girl.
