At the same time, you can still have your feminine side and have no repercussions. Girls can take from boys and still be girls but it's harder for boys to do the opposite. Outside of social opposition, guys just don't pull off a natural look while wearing girl clothes, and often are made to shoulder the burden of many social responsibilities and expected to take them without any whining. Need to cry? Guys don't cry, man up. Suck it up and stop whining. You're not allowed to show your emotions so vividly! Who do you think you are? Struggle through life without the thought of having a safety net of knowing that it'd be reasonably easy to find someone who can support you in your time of need.
