>>45064795I haven't given up on the franchise per se, but it was after playing BW when I realised that I really don't like the main games at all and the only reason I'm into this series is for the Pokemon. Which is funny, because BW is probably the most enjoyable mainline game for me.
I don't need to play the games at all to enjoy the Pokemon and honestly there's so little you can do with them that playing with them is practically the same experience as it is just looking at official art.
