>>38105321>>38105417I feel like the only way we are going to see something like this is as a spinoff that plays more like a harvest moon/animal crossing mashup where things are limited in what sorts of pokemon you can catch and raise, but the pokemon themselves have a lot more detail in their interactions. The tricky part would be narrowing down the list of available pokemon options, but the safe bet would just be pikachu, eevee, and the 3 most popular starters. Assuming you can evolve them, that just means they need to make fairly in-depth options for about 20 pokemon in total.
I could see it working out, though it'd probably wind up being far more limited in scope if it's restricted to a single town and the surrounding wilderness.
