too soon to decide, and until the game comes out i won't care about something i can't play yet (no point stressing out in anticipation on something i'll get eventually)

first time i met Red on Mt Silver on pkmn Silver.
hear me out. you're gonna laugh...
i was a pompous ass back then who only used the starter and every legendary, only speeding through the games. i didn't care much because nothing there was much of a challenge against the plain OP-ness of the starter and the legendaries. i sped through the game without a care in the world acting all high and mighty and undefeatable.
(note: at this point in time i didn't know red because i had not played blue or red yet)
when i get the access to mt Silver it was nothing special until i saw someone who looked like a youngster or a camper, or a ranger, or a police officer. i talked to him, he had nothing to say and wanted me to fight him.
he looks nothing special. just your average generic trainer actually. sends out a pikachu and i'm already thinking "oh this one's in the bag-WOH FUCK IT'S AT LEVEL 81!!!"
before i know it, i'm fucked up the ass because up until that point i never used strategies, type advantages, moves (HMs in the mix with plain OP moves) nothing. AND considered myself the best back then.
that pikachu alone fainted my Ho-oh and my Lugia in 2 turns. well did i wake up suddenly.
since then i've been using nothing but teams i formulate myself for every region that base of a starter and a few decent non starters, deeming legendaries as no fun to use because they are already caught immensely strong and high leveled.
