Fuck, man, I just wanted to start my game, pick my male Popplio (likeliest to happen since I always get male first try regardless and I never soft resetted for some fucking gender) and have a big nice playful silly Popplio, not a freaking siren that feels entirely different to him and have its gender look off just because someone decided to make it extremely feminine for whatever reason. If it had a actual fish tail, I'd even excuse it, but it's quite literally wearing a gown while its actual skin is all white. That is a selkie/siren, not a mermaid.
