Now about the other Johto-starters:
Typhlosion is way too plain. It looks like a bigger version of its pre-evo. Its body only has too colours and a flame on its neck. It needs a bit more details to look better.
Design-wise, I like Meganium most. It's just its cutie-face I don't like. Its face doesn't look adult-like, like most of the other starters/final evos in general do.

They made a much better krokodile with the Sandile-line.
