>>32119977Probably because, unlike Pokemon, Digimon doesn't really generate that much interest from the masses. This pretty much leads to them experimenting on what kind of shit they can do that can make it more popular.
That being the case - assuming it actually was the case, since I'm just talking out of my ass - Digimon does interest me a lot more than Pokemon, if nothing more than the fact that it has many different types of gameplay.
Also, speaking of DW, I love how you can fuck up your Digimon into Numemon and still get something useful.
Maybe I just don't like being punished for not knowing how to play, but it's the little things.
