Chiming in as somebody who plays competitively. Not a super top level player or anything for sure, but i'm decent and can play against some notable players and take some rounds and matches off them.
For some reference for people wanting info on each character, here's an excellent roster overview somebody put out a few weeks ago:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvnnN17CypY. Comboster and Badintent and two other people I'm totally blanking on the name of also put out some intro guides on the game's competitive play you can find on youtube.
Also, here's frame data:

'
Might set up a group tommorow to play against other anons, thinking of gifting anybody that beats me a 10$ steam game of their choice as a way to encourage matches.
>>44361104Solid, usually considered on the upper end of mid tier, but he's got a decent amount of really tough matchups, as he struggles to get in. But once you do get in you can do like 30% to 50% damage in like 2 hits if you make the right reads.
>>44365978She's probably the most pure zoner in the game: Gardevoir and Suicuine are the next two most traditional projectile zoning characters, but both have at least okay tools up close even if they are considered some of the weaker characters. Chandy has some of the worst frame data in the game and you pretty much never wanna be up close, BUT she's got an insane amount of zoning tools and projectiles. She's pretty much Peacock from skullgirls in terms of the amount of shit she can put up on the screen.
