>Okay, so I decided to tune in to this episode because I happened to be up early enough and I think Todd Hoberkorn is voicing the big kid in this episode. Tierno I think his name was? Jesus, is that guy in everything! Sailor Moon, Bleach, Sword Art Online, Fairy Tail, Hetalia, even Legend of Korra! I knew he was in Pokemon before, but I didn't expect to hear his voice again. Kinda interesting that Serena is this type of character that spends more time unsure of her goals or where she wants to go than most protagonists have so far,to the point where she never had an official Pokemon battle until now. Though what exactly is the difference between being a Pokemon Performer and a Pokemon Coordinator.
>yep it is haberkorn, and hell be tierno for the next 3 episodes...
>Shauna's voice actress didn't sound that good. I didn't hear much of Trevor's and Tierno's actors since I cane in late so I'll reserve judgment on them. This is actually the last episode I watched of the sub so everything from here will be new for me. The episode itself is okay and an enjoyable set-up for the rest of the arc. It's nice to see Serena thinking about what she wants to do on her journey.
>That Squirtle is a pro! Forget Ash and Serena, I wanna see the adventures of Squirtle. It took 39 episodes, but Serena is finally contemplating what her purpose is. I don't think I would be interested in pokemon videos. At this point I don't see why they couldn't bring back contests. Perhaps in a modified form so they're not too similar to past contests.
>(In resposne to ^) Especially since it's established ORAS will have contests, so it makes sense to promote them with Serena.
