>>52613049Well, maybe it's just my partial opinion, but I liked Power of Us for several reasons, Ash traveling alone feels more in line with the nature of the franchise, traveling in a group always feels so strange in the movies since many times the writers only focus on one character in the group and the rest feel like dead weight, another factor is that the story doesn't really focus on him, he's just a passing traveler, the biggest weight in the story is carried by Risa and Margo, I want to highlight Risa not so much for being a deep character or any of that shit (She's a basic bitch) but for giving us a different approach to this universe being a normal student, I've always wanted to know more about how this world works, beyond a ten-year-old kid saves the world with magical animals and infinite money, how is the day-to-day life of ordinary people in this world, how advanced or limited is their technology, what adaptations their cities undergo, how they manage their resources. In short I did enjoy all the little details and mini stories of this movie more than the general plot (Also generic as fuck; legendary in turn, big bad guy, yada yada, power of love)
On the other hand, with Koko I only felt that I was watching a long episode of the series, by only focusing on the story told a thousand times, the secondary characters contributed almost nothing and being set in a generic jungle most of the time the pace becomes bored.
